Today's Hours:

Library Services During COVID-19

Welcome

We are open to the FSU community and the public and we are ready to serve you! Library hours for the Fall 2021 semester are:

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 9:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Saturday 12:00pm - 5:00pm, Sunday 1:00pm - 9:00pm.

At this time, everyone is required to wear a face mask while in the Library building. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes stations are available throughout the building while face mask dispensers are located outside each of the classrooms.

We are still offering our circulation services through curbside pickup if you prefer not to come into the building. Please call 508-626-4650 or email circulation@framingham.edu for assistance or to set up a pick up time.

Check below for how to access other library services for students, faculty, and staff. The Resources for Faculty page includes information about reserves and e-reserves for faculty, library instruction, copyright information, and more!

E-Resources

The library website provides access to the library's online resources. Reference librarians can assist your students in finding the best research for your assignment. In addition, you can find information about accessing our e-books  in the Overdrive Ebook Libguide.  In addition, we are now subscribing to e-books through Ebsco Ebooks which you can access from the Library's A-Z list of electronic resources.

If you or your students run into any problems accessing any of the databases, do not hesitate to contact Abe Newell at anewell1@framingham.edu

Accessing Books

Books in the Library Collection

If you are studying remotely or if  the library is closed and you need to access a book in the physical collection, contact circulation@framingham.edu to make arrangements. We can arrange a pick up time for you.

If you only need a chapter from a book owned by our library, please email interlibraryloan@framingham.edu and we will happily scan it for you! We can also scan the table of contents to help you figure out which chapter you need.

Many publishers are providing free access to e-books to help students, faculty, and others during this time. Check out the Free and Expanded Resources page for publishers providing free e-book access during this time.

Books on Reserve

If you need a chapter from a physical book or to borrow a book on reserve, email circulation@framingham.edu to make arrangements.

For information about putting books on reserve, retrieving your books on reserve, or other faculty questions about reserves, see the For Faculty page.

Returning Books

Materials can be returned through the outside book drop located to the left of the front doors or inside at the circulation desk during posted designated times that the library will be open to the public.
