The Henry Whittemore Library offers a number of ways to find peer-reviewed, scholarly research articles, sometimes called academic articles. Explore the options below for all the ways to find peer-reviewed articles.
Ram Search, below is a good research starting point! However, sometimes a discipline-specific database may be more helpful. Ram Search searches across everything the library subscribes to. A discipline-specific database searches just journals from that discipline. To find a good discipline-specific database, check out the A-Z list. If you need help with selecting a database, contact a librarian! To get in-touch with a librarian, email reference@framingham.edu. You can also follow the prompts with the chatbot in the lower right-hand corner of the screen or use the link below to request an appointment with a librarian.
Interlibrary loan can be used to request articles. Unlike for books, when you request an article via interlibrary loan, it will be emailed to you! To request an article via interlibrary loan, simply follow the links to request via interlibrary loan. If you have questions about interlibrary loan email circulation@framingham.edu.
