For Library purposes, The FSU Community is:
All FSU community members have access to Whittemore Library licensed electronic resources and physical collection borrowing privileges, provided you have:
All FSU community patrons with a valid FSU ID card and/or their library account number have access to the shared resources of the 40+ member Minuteman Library network.
As Minuteman members, we also have the ability to access resources from the following Massachusetts Library Networks:
All FSU community members are welcome to stop by and get help with library research and citation questions at the Research & Learning Walk-Up Help Desk on the Upper Mezzanine (on the opposite side from the Curriculum Library). You can also schedule in-person appointments.
But if you can't make it to the Library - or even to campus, in person - there are several other ways to get your questions answered:
All FSU community members may request (at no cost) that items not available full text from either FSU or the Minuteman Network be obtained from another library.
The FSU community is welcome to borrow from our Seed Library (and hopefully some day contribute back seeds they were able to harvest). The seeds are in paper packets that are filed in a wooden card catalog located directly across from the Access Services Desk.
FSU community patrons may request group or individual tours of the Whittemore Library from our Student Engagement Coordinator.
The Whittemore Library offers a wide variety of events and programming during the academic semesters - see (and register for, if required) all of our events via our Library Events Calendar!
The Library periodically holds special exhibits. Check the Library Events Calendar and keep an eye on our social media accounts to see what's coming up this next semester!
