The Henry Whittemore Library offers self-guided tours for field trips from Grades 6 - 12. Students will learn about the many factors that influenced decisions made by the U.S. Government, the news media, organizations, and individuals as they responded to Nazism and genocide in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s.
Each program consists of approximately 75 minutes of learning content, with 15 minutes reserved for transitions and bus drop-off/pick-up.
Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate up to 100 visitors total per session (approximately 45 attendees per school group).
View recommended lesson plans, primary source collections and film and book selections in the Resources section of this guide to help further engage in the many topics at the forefront of the Americans and the Holocaust exhibition.
