Resources for the LGBTQIA+ Community

President Niemi's January 2025 Statement to FSU

Dear FSU Community,

Recent executive orders and policy announcements from the federal government have understandably raised concerns and uncertainty among many of you. I want to take a moment to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members of our campus community.

At Framingham State University, we believe in the dignity, rights, and potential of every individual. This commitment extends to protecting the rights of transgender students, ensuring equal access to education under Title IX, and supporting our students, faculty, and staff who are immigrants or part of immigrant families. Please know that we stand with you, and we are here to provide support and resources during these challenging times.
