General Information

Tours are led by the Student Engagement Coordinator or another staff member at the Whittemore Library.  Library tours consist of a physical tour of the building, and can be customized to the needs of your group or class.

Faculty members can schedule a library tour for their class by choosing the library tour option on the digital form.

What Happens in a Tour?

Tour groups will get a physical tour of library highlighting: where to get help in the library, IT services, the physical book collection (stacks), the Curriculum Library, the study areas, and other points of interest for library users. Tours also include chances for participants to ask questions. Tour are typically 15-20 minutes in length.
