Find Resources in the Library

The Whittemore Library has a lot to offer you, but how can you find what you're looking for? If you need help looking for something specific, check this page!

RamSearch

Ramsearch is the first point of access for trying to search the library collection as broadly as possible. When you search Ramsearch you're searching:

  • All of the local physical books and journals in the library's normal collections
  • All of the journals listed under the "Find Journals" tab
  • The library's collection of ebooks from Ebsco
  • Most of the databases listed under the A-Z database list

Ramsearch is a great place to get started on any research topic, and will even offer research help for broad topics. You can also refine your searches in Ramsearch using filters and advanced search.

Our Collections

Although Ramsearch is a great place to start, the library has even more to offer, and for specific research projects a more narrow focus can be helpful. You can check out the articles on this page to learn how to search for very specific things, but if you'd like to get to know what our collections are from a high level check them out here.
