Overview of Our Online Services for Students

At the Whittemore Library, we offer the following online services for students:

  • Our online Databases providing access to thousands of articles, books, reports, papers, images, videos, and other resources. 
  • Online E-Books are available through our EBSCO eBook collection with your FSU login.
  • Interlibrary loan services to request electronic resources from other libraries if we do not have the items available in our online resources.
  • FAQs explaining our services and resources!
  • Electronic Journal Search for full-text online access to specific journals that you are looking for.

Our Library Research Skills Guide provides tips for electronically searching and accessing these resources.

Overview of Our Services for Faculty/Staff

At the Whittemore Library, FSU faculty and staff have access to the following services:

Overview of Our Services for Visitors

Visitors are able to visit the library and use our main collection print resources while they are in the library.

Special rules may apply to some visitors:

  • Alumni can register for Alum borrowing privileges.*
  • MBCC Students Housed at FSU are able to obtain a library card to borrow resources from the print collection.*
  • Minuteman Library Network Patrons and MA Public Higher Ed. Students are able to search the catalog on the visitor computer and check out print items.*
