What's in this Guide

Children's Literature is a topic of scholarly research in multiple academic disciplines, as well a of interest to educators promoting literacy and critical thinking in their classrooms.

The first part of this Resource Guide will remind you briefly about our general library resources and tools, but will also point out all the relevant databases that have resources targeted to your programs.

Then there are sections that focus on resources for various children's literature subtopics. That's where you'll see more specific examples of books, journals, and other resources that may be useful or inspirational when you start a class or project focused in that area.
