If you don't know these options yet, these tips may come in handy:

• IF the ads on a webpage are in the 'background', when you call up the printing window, make sure that the option to print the background is unchecked (this option may already be turned off by default.)
• IF you browser has it, switch to 'reading mode' which automatically removes images, such as ads, not crucial to the text.
• The PrintFriendly site still gets the job done. Paste in the URL, then click to remove any images (and even text blocks) you don't want.
