How To:

Make an ILL Request - Two Ways

Way 1:

When you are on the library site searching while using RamSearch or while in one of our databases, when FSU does not have access to the full text of one of the search results, you can click on the link directing you to request it via ILL. You will be taken to your ILL My Account page, and the request form there will be already partly filled out.  Fill in the rest, and submit the request.

NOTE: The very first time you click on any of our links to go to Interlibrary request / ILL, you will be asked to create your own login for what will be your personal ILL account page, where you can make requests, see the progress, and later return to get access to articles that have been sent to you. Requested print books are sent to the Whittemore Library via USPS; when they arrive you will receive an e-mail so that you can go to the Circulation Desk and pick them up.

Way 2:

If you want to request something that you did not find while searching on the library website, the process is the same - please fill out and submit the ILL request form located on your ILL My Account page
