Large Language Models (LLM) are machine learning models that fall under the umbrella of Natural Language Processing. LLMs are designed to predict the most likely word or phrase to come next in a sequence.

Functions of LLM

The main function of LLMs is to generate text based on statistical patterns that have been gleaned from data. LLMs generally do not understand the language they generate, simply the predictive patterns at work.
